The CLEVER project is conducting a needs assessment of the industry in the Northern Region for PREI-ISAF
The CLEVER project – Capacity Building for Industrialisation and Advanced Manufacturing Systems in the Northern Region – forms part of the S3 NORTE 2027 strategy and aims to boost the Regional Platform for Smart Specialisation (PREI-ISAF), fostering collaboration between businesses, academia, technology centres and public bodies, with a focus on strengthening innovation and industrial competitiveness in the region.
The project’s main objectives are:
• To map skills and needs and identify challenges and constraints in innovation within advanced production processes in the Northern Region;
• To contribute to defining investment priorities and strategic areas of R&D within the sector;
• To identify best practices and institutional models that promote capacity-building and coordination between the scientific, technological and business sectors;
• To draw up sector-specific strategic roadmaps tailored to the realities of the region and its businesses.
To ensure that the project’s results are fully aligned with the needs of businesses in the Northern Region, we ask for everyone’s cooperation in completing a short questionnaire by 24 July. The information gathered will be crucial in defining investment priorities and R&D and innovation agendas, ensuring that CCDR NORTE’s future support programmes and instruments respond effectively to the challenges and opportunities identified by the region’s business community, with a focus on Industrialisation and Advanced Manufacturing Systems.
