Production Technologies meet with Prime Minister

The Prime Minister António Costa promoted last February 14th a meeting with companies and associations of the equipment manufacturing sector, where PRODUTECH was represented.

At the meeting, attended by companies, associations and research institutions of the production technology cluster, "very clear lines of work for the future, in the promotion of this sector, in the financing of the activity, in the needs of human resources and professional training" were identified, in the words of the Minister of State, Economy and Digital Transition, Pedro Siza Vieira.

It should be recalled that Government and PRODUTECH cluster signed in April 2019 a sectorial pact (http://www.produtech.org/noticias/noticias-produtech/produtech-assina-pacto-sectorial-para-a-competitividade-e-internacionalizacao-com-o-ministerio-da-economia) with the objective of modernizing the industrial fabric, enhancing internationalization, anticipating professional qualification needs, contributing to the energy transition and boosting collaborative dynamics.

Besides the Prime Minister António Costa and the Minister of State, Economy and Digital Transition, Siza Vieira, were also present the Minister of Planning, Nelson de Souza, and the Deputy Secretary of State and Economy, João Neves.
